Madrid faced Al-Hilal in the Club World Cup on Thursday, where Vinicius and his team-mates drew 1-1 in Xabi Alonso's first match as Madrid's coach.
Cancelo had words of praise for Vinicius, saying: "He's very difficult to play against. He's very fast and unpredictable. He has that Brazilian quality. They're great players. It's always a pleasure to play against the best."
He spoke about the match against Madrid "Madrid is a very strong team. Very big. People didn't expect such a strong response from Al Hilal. We held Madrid back a bit. We were superior in the first half, but Madrid is the favourite and improved in the second".
When asked who was the favourite to win the tournament he said "The favourite is PSG".
Cancelo and Al Hilal will take on Red Bull Salzburg on Monday while Vini Jr and Real Madrid will take on Mexican side Pachuca as they will seek to improve under new coach Alonso.
